Mashomani is a Xhosa sangoma from a small rural village on the east coast of South Africa, called Tswelleni. The closest
town is Port st Johns which is 40 km away.
She describes her music as “music for the soul” Mashomani connects to her ancestors through music. She hopes that these traditional songs will open people’s hearts, help to heal and uplift.
